Orage

We left Gap and went to Embrun because it was recommended by SIL.
It is a pretty little village. We had a look around and a coffee, but it was a bit early to set up camp so we have moved on to Digne les Bains. Just as we were leaving Embrun the most massive thunderstorm passed over. We had to stop in a lay-by , there were trees blowing over and it was quite frightening.
I saw the most spectacular lightning I’ve ever seen. I didn’t get the photo unfortunately!
After that we continued round and above the lake , Lac de Serre Poncon ,to the road to Digne les Bains via Sisteron. We’ve been there before though so decided to go somewhere new. D les B is attractive  enough and has a big market tomorrow so we might go to that.
