Sunlight through Sweet Peas

Took some depressing photos because it was how I felt, but decided there's no point inflicting that on anyone else, so here you get the late sun through my sweet peas, which have made a comeback in the abnormally cool and drizzly weather we're having since we came back from the north.

It's lovely, but it's worrying. Jaime (the sheep guy) says the weather is descontrolado. And I've read a few other Blips that are saying the same thing. Ten or so years ago, before we decided to come to Portugal, we listened to an expert on Europe say how the weather was going to get weirder, and he was right. Scary stuff and yet folk still spend time and energy making folks' lives harder...

Oh heck, got depressing anyway, sorry!

Gratefuls (this should be more cheerful):
- really enjoyed bucketing the water out of the wine vat onto the "lawn", it's gone cool, and we're going away for a while, so better to put it away again
- catching up on sleep and not having to drive anywhere
- Mike fixing a new solar light onto the gate, which I think looks great (he's disappointed it doesn't go off, just dimmer when no movement)
