Enough of idyllic rural Bavaria. Enough of cultural Munich. Nitty gritty time.

The Audi complex in Ingolstadt. HQ, manufacturing, museum etc.

I passed it on the train yesterday. I pass it regularly when I'm out cycling or walking (even when I used to go running).

One day soon (before September) they're going to make one for me. Just a wee one (I'm not a flash car person) and it will be leased rather than owned (good tax treatment for the self employed).

Meantime I'll watch them go past on the freight trains as they head for their new owners...

The sign on the building tells you what they're making at the time - A3s for Britain, for example.
