Celebration of Life

I drove over to Olney and back for a Celebration of Life for my brother in law R who sadly died suddenly 3 weeks ago. R was a lovely man who always liked helping others and never gave up working for a general buildings maintenance company and as a school caretaker because of this. A good life lived, and nice to have so many friends and family together to raise a glass to him.

Day 827 / Day 118 of no Legal Covid Requirements in England (for my record only)
The weekly ONS infection survey of private households up to 18th June showed rates up 23% from the previous week with 1 in 35 with the virus across the UK. There's an estimated 1 in 40 in England (up); 1 in 20 in Scotland (up); 1 in 45 in Wales (no change) and 1 in 30 in NI (up). The Omicron sub variants BA.4 and BA.5 make up over half of new infections in England according to the UKHSA, who urged the 17.5% of over 75’s who haven’t had their Spring booster jab to come forward for it.
