Matariki Fireworks

The evening went off with a bang, they were simply spectacular.  I wasn't properly prepared, as they were advertised for 7 p.m., but NO : 6.30 p.m.!   I took the fireworks photos from my front deck.  The extras are:  (1)  Preparing the Hangi   (2)  A truck load of firewood arrives  The remaining extras are of the fireworks.

This morning I walked into town, was interested in seeing many people preparing for the afternoons entertainment.  The rain stayed away, which was great.  Not too cold +9C.  All in all a lovely day's entertainment.
