End of Season

I blipped this season’s first asparagus lunch, so it feels only right to blip the last one, too.

The recipe (lightly fried in olive oil and served with pasta, tomatoes and feta) is one of my own; something light and quickly thrown together at lunchtime, when I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Tomorrow, the stall selling asparagus around the corner of our street will close. I hope it will reappear next spring.

(On a totally different topic: I‘m still trying to digest the news from the US supreme court rulings in the last couple of days, and wonder what will come next -  will segregation become legal again? It’s such a mockery of justice…)
