Wound up in Wexford

Roses

More bits of the garden that are looking after themselves very competently - though the yellow standard rose in the background would probably benefit from some dead heading.

The pink rose in the foreground was a gift from one of W's friends, and has survived considerable neglect over the last couple of years - it's looking good at the moment, and may be adopted by an acquaintance shortly.  The birds perched in the pot came from South Africa, and will definitely travel to Ireland with us.

We were both awake ridiculously early this morning - we had morning cuppas in bed at 0600 - and that was after trying to sleep more.  so we're tired tonight - but if we go to bed too early, we'll be awake early again tomorrow.
