The Marmites

I had to rely on one of the band’s groupies for todays blip of The Marmites first performance since before Covid and my first ever appearance in a band.

We were playing at the Pink Party Garden Party in aid of cancer charities in the grounds of a lovely house near Canterbury.

I enjoyed it immensely and was pleased by how it went. It’s the beginning of a long journey of gaining experience in live performances. I’m full of admiration for anyone who plays live. It’s a thrill.

And even better at the end of the event the host said “thank you to the musicians for today’s entertainment”
