Ever changing skies…..

……at the Most Southerly Point in the UK.
The most southerly café is in the centre perched on a narrow rocky stretch of land.
Over the past almost 30 odd years we’ve been coming here annually, (with only a couple of exceptions) the café has never changed. It has withstood the urge to “modernise” and remains it’s iconic self. (Albeit with up to date kitchen equipment and a change of seating now and then).
It remains understated and unchanged.
You can sit outside on the small terrace and watch the ever changing ocean, the sea running with light, and spot seals in the water. I saw one this morning.
The SW coastal path goes past on its way just in the lee of the lighthouse.
We walked along there earlier.
I took the photo as a Pano so I hope it works. The skies were beautiful.

“Lizard Point is the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain at 49° 57' 30" N. With the exception of parts of the Isles of Scilly, it is the southernmost part of England and the wider United Kingdom”
