Beautiful Bude

It has been another warm and sunny day. A and P went to meet a couple of his relatives  at the  Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor so it was our turn to entertain the Ladies. We took them to Bude. My Mum and I last  went there on a family holiday about 58 years ago, my aunt even longer ago, and Martin never. Despite happy but hazy memories of Bude we were all impressed by how it  looks now. The main blip is of the sea water pool.
After fish and chips for lunch by the old sea canal, designed to transport sand inland to improve the soil in the fields, we drove  a few miles south to Upton and Widemouth Bay. The first extra shows D & F on the South West Coast path with Hartland Point in the distance, while the second  is looking south from the same  point  across Widemouth Bay.
