RHS Rosemoor

We all wanted to visit the  RHS garden Rosemoor at Great Torrington, and 20 miles from Okehampton,  but had been  carefully watching the weather forecast to ensure we picked a fine day. Well, it couldn't have been any sunnier or much hotter than  it was when we visited  today!
It is rightly famed for its rose gardens which were looking perfect, but there was so much  else besides, such as  the lake, long border, woodland, veg plots. We couldn't possibly see it all in one visit.
It has truly been a grand day out, followed  by dinner on the  patio. (see extra- the building behind us is the old piggery, now a useful  shed to store  our bikes). Just a pity my sister C couldn't be with us. She is still feeling very weak and lethargic from having Covid.
