Silver clay

I did a full day's workshop in silver clay today, after the taster session I did in April. There were just three of us which meant that we got lots of attention and some added extras which a larger class wouldn't have got. These are all the pieces we made and mine are the top three. I was pleased with one of the pieces (top right), using a mould based on a Charles Rennie Macintosh brooch, but I wasn't that happy with the other two pieces. There isn't a great deal of time to decide what to make - and I should have stuck with the original idea I'd had for one of the pieces. Never mind, at least I was pleased with something!
