Clocking up the miles

We were meeting holidaying friends at the Deutsches Museum so got an early train in, wandered around and grabbed breakfast before the shops opened (most open at 10am). No success on the shopping front and pretty hot pounding the streets but it was nice strolling along the shady sides of the Isar.
Spent all afternoon in the museum then it was back to the Isar to dangle our feet in the restorative water. The local beergarden beckoned but, really annoyingly!!, it was shut so instead we caught a tram across town to Augustiner which was guaranteed to be open. Stayed until the rain arrived then back home where the heavens really opened. That should clear the air!
