That’s it, the flat’s cleared, the housekeeping checklist’s ticked off, keys handed back. A last look around but it’s not the same, just the memories remain along with the bright yellow walls but they’ll be painted white again for the next tenant. Hope they enjoy living here as much as Lore.
Later we wandered past Peter’s before deciding on a beer in Dachs beer-garden, then took ourselves off to the cinema. Rumba Therapie, a French film dubbed into German was pretty good apart from the very last scene which defined schmaltz to the nth degree. Pity.
