Aladdin's cave

We spent the night in an Ibis Hotel, more or less on the motorway, but were so tired that we fell asleep, soon after our meal in the restaurant. Up early in the morning and drove on down through France to arrive in Beaumant de Perigord between 2 and 3 in the afternoon. We know the two fellows who own the B & B "Villa de Beaumant" as they previously ran a luxury B & B in Mazamet that we visited on many occasions. They were very pleased to see us as we had booked in last June when they were due to open their new place, but couldn't, due to Covid.
The welcoming glass of Cremant was very well received, after which we had a wander into the town - five minutes walk - to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. Mark said we had to visit this shop, that sold practically everything under the sun.  It was wonderful.
Extras show the welcoming "dog" outside of the ibis Hotel and some French countryside. and more views of Beaumant de perigord.
