A nightmare

We didn't really want to go around the Peripherique in Paris, but to not do it would have meant probably another day's journey to our destination near to Bergerac in France.  Here we are driving under the runway at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport with a plane taking off as we exit one of the tunnels in the extra. It was exhausting for J as there were lorries all around us although the Satnav was good at telling us when to exit the ring road - after at least an hour on it.  I also had a Road Atlas book, which I was able to follow looking at road numbers and exit numbers.
