Entreaty

This plant is in the bother in the William yard and it is a very statuesque plant with these long spikes of flowers. It was raining today so no bees to grace the flowers. They showed up rather well against the grey sky and the screen in the background which is going to be showing Wimbledon when the weather allows!

The flowers looked like distorted hands held out waiting to be fed! Odd!
