Greek Foxglove

Day #24 of #30dayswild was spent exploring the interface between the natural and cultural worlds, with visits to Oxford Botanic Gardens, Oxford University Zoology Museum and the Pitt Rivers Museum. It was interesting to see how diverse cultures had made use of nature, both in the creation of useful objects, and as a source of inspiration for embellishing them. And I even managed a small bit of recording - Hieracium amplexicaule was growing on top of one of the walls in the botanic garden, last seen in the area in 1979!
