Glasgow's Clockwork Orange

I had some shopping to do in town after our final game of badminton before a summer break. My preferred method of transport into town is always the subway. My route today was from Shields Road to Cowcaddens.

The Glasgow underground was opened in 1896 and is the third oldest in Europe after London and Budapest. Unlike London where there are many different lines Glasgow has only one. If you have nothing to one day a ride on the subway fills in half and out or so and there are plenty of opportunities to people watch.

In the late1970s the carriages were updated and the new ones were bright orange so what better name for orange trains that move round the circuit all day just like the hands of a clock.
