The climbing tree

... is what we call this tree. It cries out to be climbed and, though LMB is still too small, she likes being lifted into its lower branches. It's a Field Maple (Acer campestre).

Yesterday I thought/hoped I had hay fever, but overnight and today it's presented itself very clearly as A Stinking Cold. First I've had for a while. C'est la vie!
