A place in the sun

I thought this week was to be increasingly wet and windy, but I must have read the wrong forecast!

Beautifully sunny today, not maybe the best day to be working inside the glasshouse, but I finally got the staging levelled up and the slats nailed on the top. A few minor bits and pieces to tidy up, then it's the piece of decking just outside the door which has collapsed - there's quite a hole underneath as the ground slopes away. 

My second lot of runner beans are growing well - I think it's time for another visit to the Glencruitten Walled Garden to plant them out, and to get the pea netting up and the peas planted. I'll maybe need to sow some more as they haven't done too well.
