Abstract Thursday

It's been a day in the studio today, doing some screenprinting. Usually I avoid screenprinting this time of year because the inks dry too quickly in the summer heat. No summer heat today, though. Even rushing around the studio didn't warm me up. And now I am sitting at my computer wrapped in a thick cardigan. And on the television rain has halted play at Wimbledon whilst the roof is closed. Typical British summer I suppose.

The photograph is of one of the many pebbles I collected last week in Scotland. I think the black bits are essentially coal and I love the sad face that the bits of coal make. 'Art' for free!
