Astrantia with

Whilst gardening this afternoon I spotted this beastie on an Astrantia flower. I think it may be a Red-headed cardinal beetle and according to the Wildlife Trusts website, the adults can often be found sunbathing on flowers during the summer and will feed on other smaller insects flying around.
At this point of the season, Astrantias are my favourite garden plant and I am happy to share this one with the beetle.
