Supernatural

I don't know the name of this plant, but the more I look at it, the stranger it seems. I thought to begin with that it had a ghostly appearance but closer examination might suggest something even more nightmarish. The yellow/green stamen viewed up close looks a bit like a demonic head with horns and bulging eyes. The white petals look as though they might have been splattered with dark red blood, and looming overhead what could be a bird's head with a beak curved like an arab dagger and tipped with the same deep red colour. Maybe best not to dwell too much on this and just enjoy the flower for what it is!
