A sign of defiance

The farmers in the Netherlands are not exactly happy at the moment. We need, as a country, to reduce the amount of nitrogen that is out there. Our government has known that for years, but didn't do anything because the deadline was in the future. Now the future is here and they want an easy fix. And cutting down on farmers is our government's idea of an easy fix. The farmers start protesting. Violently even. During tonight's walk I saw our flag. Upside down, an act of defiance.
