What you really don't need when you're going on holiday is for the person who you've got coming in to feed the cat each day to come down with That Bloody Covid. But crisis averted - jaybroek to the rescue!

This morning I took mesen off for what will be the last road ride for a while. I wanted to make it a bit hard so there was only one option really - The Bathgate Alps! Plenty gnarly, and a little bit steep in places.

Tomorrow teatime we fly to Bologna. And come back from Venice two Mondays later. With a couple of other places in between for a few days here and a few days there.

I think it will all turn out to be... alright
