Like a painted lady

These beautiful mandarin ducks are almost too beautiful to be true...
Spent most of the day watering on the allotment, it is so dry with no rain in sight, l read London is likely to be put on drought conditions if this continues. Forecast to be a heatwave coming towards the end this week and into next. A heatwave is defined in this country as 3 days of above average heat.
I am going with fellow blipper Lesley Alsford to a lavender farm today so hopefully some nice purple photos coming up.
