The Trial of St George!

Backdated Blip 79

St George's Day 2012

After posting up this year's St George (the leaping Morris dancers), here is my entry for last, 2012's.

St George is in the Oak Court, now disused as an active courtroom, located in Salisbury's Guildhall. Jonathan the Jester (nearest camera) plus a whole host of others, inc the Mayor at the time, who I've now forgotten exactly who they were, plus an audience of everyday visitors, help make up the ensemble. It's all humorous, a bit daft and horribly over-acted and is simply great fun, appealing to all ages.

Something similar did happen again this year, but with a different cast - and a different script.

Lens was a Nikkor D 28-200mm, which I no longer have - a bit slow here but essentially almost the only lens I used that entire day, inside and out.
