A friend of mine started running last autumn for the first time in her life and today she's tackling the London Marathon. It's a tall order, but if anyone can do it she can!

We sat at home watching it on the TV cheering her on. This is the first time I've watched the London Marathon as a runner myself, and I was in complete awe of everyone.

They open the ballot for next year's race a week on Monday. I'm tempted...
