Night Beauty

The first flower on one of our new dahlias, named ‘ Night Beauty ‘.
As you can see it has unfortunately been nibbled by something.
Still looks beautiful and quite striking.
One I bought from Sarah Raven. Bees are supposed to love it but as yet I haven’t seen any gathering the pollen.
Lots of buds so hopefully will be covered in flowers soon.

It has been a beautiful summer’s day. Not as hot as I expected which is a good thing.
Plenty of fluffy white clouds and a gentle breeze. Got the washing dry in no time.

Certainly looking good for the weekend.
