The cows were sensibly hunkering down and chewing cud in the stiff breeze today. Back to the layers of clothing, wellies and thick socks with grey weather, strong winds and frankly disappointing summer. I don't want to see any blips of sunshine and flowers as the envy level is too high ...

I'm not getting to sleep very well so another late start and a late walk. The Zoom call I was supposed to have at 12:00 never happened so I spent hours of my life chasing that. I think the only constructive thing I've managed today is the start on the ironing - which I now need to get finished ...
