Out and about

A quiet day, but enjoyable. Carl did the Castle tour, with special attention paid to the newly restored Ros tapestries. I sat in the sun at a lovely little café enjoying hot chocolate, lemon muffin and glass of wine.

The rest of the day descended into a bit of a pub crawl which involved the Left Bank, Tynan’s, Matt the Millers, Ó Riada’s and Cleere’s, all of which were enjoyable, with Cleere’s coming out on top in terms of atmosphere. It had the added advantage of being closest to home base when the night ended.

The main blip is the interior of the Left Bank. The extra is the view from its top floor across to the Castle.
