Only about 10km cycling
8km walking and a lot of stairs!
No too much rush, we had breakfast on the balcony in the rain, yes, it was cooler and wet, what a surprise! We left to cycle over the hill to Pomena, to get the fast catamaran to Dubrovnik. It was blowing a hoolie, with big white horses. It was quite a rough journey on a completely packed boat. So glad I booked this cat, the only one you can get the bikes on many weeks ago.
It was raining in Dubrovnik, so we just had some lunch and waited, it didn’t stop, and cycling up to the apartment was quite tricky, the cars were skidding around a lot. The apartment looked so rough from the outside, a real communist looking 60s block, but it really was 4 Star inside! Ivana the host explained how to get to old town, where to eat etc. After a rest, we walked to the city, it was dry but cloudy. What a great city, we did the excellent and very expensive walls walk, nice that it wasn’t too hot. Unfortunately I got a pretty bad headache, so had to go back to the apartment straight after a small dinner.
