Strandkörbe

Had a lovely breakfast with our friends in Lübeck, it was Kerstin‘s birthday too. After picking some cherries, we set off for the Port of Kiel and our Ferry to Oslo. We got on no problem, although the Germans couldn’t scan our COVID certificates. We had a lovely cabin with window, but just enjoyed being out on the deck for the first couple of hours, so much to look at leaving Kiel. Submarine yards, Navy base and all these Sandy beaches filled with Strandkörbe ( Beach baskets?).
We had a lovely dinner, then sat in the lounge right at the top, before having a great night‘s sleep at sea.
