Took the pooch for a groom to Cawood and Joe and I went for a walk away from people. He loved kicking his ball around and we found another cafe for take-out. He definitely won't want to go back to school at this rate. He's great company though - not sure I want him to go back either :)

A group of ladies had a meal out at a local pub tonight to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was really lovely. I stayed sober so that I didn't eat my own body weight in chips. I'm trying to eat more healthily at the moment, and alcohol is always my downfall.  The chicken salad was lovely...but I did look at my friend's steak pie and chips with envy...
