Gatekeeper

Did manage a wander "up the road" this afternoon ..... a fairly slow wander as I'm still trying to get my energy levels back up to 'normal' after whatever lurgy it was.

There was quite a blustery breeze at times which didn't help much with taking photos!

In one of the calmer moments I managed to get this Gatekeeper ....... I love the texture of their wings ...... hope you like it :-)

There were a lot of them about so there must have been a new hatching .... couldn't persuade any of them to open their wings & pose though ... maybe another day!
