Sunbathing

Another hot day, and a camera club friend has just returned from Jordan and she and her partner have been laid low with Covid.  They are really poorly and in bed, so this morning JJ and I went to the supermarket to collect some food for them.  This is the first time I have been to our supermarket since mid March two years ago.  I may go back.

Our friends up the road have also caught Covid on their Alaska cruise, but haven’t felt unwell other than tiredness.  They have another three days in Vancouver before returning home.

I sat in the garden reading for the remainder of the morning, in between watching a wren trying to find offspring to feed.  There seems to be a lot of hide and seek going on.

The men’s final was entertaining but I do hope the Cambridge’s warned Prince George that there would be a lot of bad language from Kyrgios.

This blackbird was sunbathing in the front garden and the extra is of a butterfly laying eggs on the nasturtium.
