Nature’s artistry…….

The lake at the Taylor Dam is a magnet for me. It draws me there regardless of the weather. I sidetracked there this drizzly afternoon. Council has closed the gates across the access road in anticipation of predicted stormy weather with high rainfall. I walked down to the the water’s edge. The pattern in the foreground waters is created by black swans paddling through the surface weeds whilst foraging for food. The black-back gulls are again settling on the lake and are stirring up the distant waters.
