A Very Different Scene……

……. After the storm… Almost all of New Zealand has been affected by an overnight violent, fast moving storm which dumped torrential rain as it travelled down the country. We had a strong, cold southeast wind blowing as it rained. Much of the rain came from the south-east quarter and hence the catchment that feeds the Taylor River. So…. The lake behind the Taylor Dam has flooded. Inspite of that these two black swans glided through the flood waters seemingly unconcerned.
