July 4th

I'm a bit behind but trying to post a few back blips - this one from our view of the American July 4th celebration.  It seems that many of the 'Americans' I know are not as enthusiastic about their country right now, particularly with the recent mass shootings, there was even one in Chicago on the morning of Independence Day, and with an extremist political Supreme Court seemingly able to change laws undemocratically, but the fireworks were pretty and one hopes for better times in the future!
