Around Lingfield

I’m actually enjoying the cool, country air and I can’t believe how long the days are. Apart from watching students at an online meeting for my August teaching job, it was a lazy day with a nice long walk.
After I’d got back from an overpriced Thai dinner, I got a surprise message from a friend. I thought it was spam. She confirmed it was. I told her I was in the UK again so we’re meeting tomorrow night. We couldn’t meet earlier in the year as her 14yr old son has long Covid. We can’t wait to meet again.
