Waking around the airport
We were up, packed and on the way over the road to the airport by 6.30. at the check in. We found that they didn’t have the boxes for the bikes, they would just get put on how they are! We had time to get a coffee and pastry, then the gate was open. We were sat on the plane then informed we would have to wait another 45mins. It really was the most amazing flight, I got to review the whole cycling route from the air. In the photo this is above Mljet island, you can see the two salt lakes we cycled around.
We got a grand tour of all the glaciers too, as the plane had to corkscrew, a long time before landing. We got our bikes back ok, they had let all the air out of the tyres! So took ages pumping with our tiny pump.
Back home by 13.30, so plenty of time to get all unpacked and get completely ignored and shunned by the cat!
