Leaving Dubrovnik

We took our time getting up and having breakfast at the apartment, and were packed and ready to go exactly at 11am checkout time. A steep climb above and south of Dubrovnik, on a very busy road, all tourism related, and lots of coaches pipping loudly at us as they overtook, passing always too close. We headed to Cavtat, a little seaside town, not far from the airport to spend the afternoon, first at a beach bar reading and watching the waves and rocks. Then had a v early dinner, before heading up to the airport, another 200 m and 7km, to a little apartment where we would spend the night. Wrote the last few postcards and watched some Netflix, in particular a documentary about what lead to the start of WW1 from a Serbian point o view.
