Mark di Suvero, For Handel, 1975

Took this photo as we left the performance center after tonight’s concert. As always it was fantastic. My favorite part was the group of lieder by Richard Strauss sung by Maria Valdez. What a voice, clear, rich and velvety. And her breath control was phenomenal. I was so entranced I didn’t even think of taking a photo. Luscious and wonderful.
