Aksla Viewpoint

Day #5. Explored Alesund learning about the Norwegian resistance in WW2 and the traffic with Shetland. This is the view from the viewpoint which involved climbing 408 steps. You can see a huge cruise ship. It's come from Southampton and when it was built in 2019 it was the 2nd biggest in the world. Lots of the passengers had come ashore but were not prepared for the Norwegian weather (extra). The ship has 19 floors and possibly 4500 passengers . Not my idea of a holiday.
We finished the day with an orienteering course.
