the rules apply to me too?

I was thrown out of work!
What does that look like when you work remotely?
It isn't like they can send burly men to escort you out of the building.
All of your devices kick you out, without explanation, will not let you back in, and you have to figure out that the Russians did not attack your agency.
It turns out that there are THREE cybersecurity classes, plus a test, and I only attended 2.5 cybersecurity classes, and did not take the test.

I used to be a more responsible person.

Today, not only was there a butterfly in my garden, the butterfly actually partook of my heuchera! I have a picture and everything but thought this was a nicer shot.

The Russian - Afghan war was nine years long. Russia lost 15,000 soldiers. The British Ministry of Defense calculates that Russia has lost 25,000 soldiers in Ukraine. Tens of thousands more have been wounded. The wounded are sent to rehab centers far from their home. A general mobilization would mean admitting that the country is at war and that it isn't going well. Recruitment offices and online job sites have been authorized to offer huge salaries for three-month contracts. These are three times the average Russian salary. Men up to 60 years of age can enroll. Would-be-recruits are figuring out that they might not survive the three months. The salaries are more attractive in poorer areas of Russia.

150 Russian servicemen from Buryatia quit and went home. Buryatia is a mountainous Russian republic in eastern Siberia. Buryats are a Mongolian people. The video appeal by Russian wives in Siberia? Sound like it was their wives. They wanted their husbands to return home after fulfilling their contracts. There is a Free Buryatia Foundation, an anti-war initiative. They signed a contract, fulfilled the contract, and then tried to go, but were detained by Russia in a camp and then threatened with lawsuits. Pavel Luzin, a Russian military expert, told The Guardian that many Russian soldiers are from poorer ethnic minority republics. They tend to be in the lower ranks. Buryatia is one of Russia's poorest regions. Some of the soldiers trying to leave are told that their contracts were automatically and legally renewed.

In Soviet times units were diverse because they didn't want battle-ready minorities returning to their homes where they could cause trouble. Now ethnic groups such as the Ingushetia and Dagestan are forming their own regiments. Ukraine's defense minister is predicting that in a few years there will be independence movements within Russia.

Russian prisoners are being offered freedom and money if they enlist for six months and serve in eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian paratroopers hit two Russian tanks with a Swedish and a Ukrainian rocket launcher.

Russia, which was never interested in Iranian weapons before, since they had their own weapons industry, is now, suggesting they can't keep up with their use. Iran is preparing to provide Russia with several hundred unmanned aerial vehicles. Cool news - US engineers developed a defense system that helps detect, identify, and neutralize weapons, including these drones.

Ukraine used a HIMARS to hit Russia's 106th Airborne Division (wait, Russia was already having trouble getting experienced pilots) and killed all but one deputy commander. That one deputy commander is in serious condition. Another HIMARS strike killed a Major General in the south.

Russian ammunition dumps are very unsafe. The munitions are not stored safely. They are old and close to their expiration date. They are waiting to explode. They also tend to be big and located near railways. Ukraine is using HIMARS to blow them up. The Economist used the term, "cock-a-hoop" which means extremely and obviously pleased, especially about a triumph or success.

Pro-Russian Telegram channels are indicating panic about the HIMARS and Russia's inability to stop them. There are reports of mass desertions.
