Into the light

I apologise for my blip absence, but with almost non-existent wifi at our accommodation and weak phone signals, I decided to give up on blipping until our return home. 

It’s been a wonderful two days with friends at Holmfirth Vineyard, with afternoon teas, wine tasting, tapas, and a three course meal at the vineyard last night.

Our second day did at least have a little exercise built in with a walk to the wonderfully named Folly Dolly Falls - a far longer walk than needed as initially we couldn’t find it. Of course, the falls are actually hardly even a trickle in this weather, but it’s still a beautiful wooded glade. 

Having gone on our long detour, we realised we could have simply walked through a brick culvert to get there, and indeed did so on our return journey - just stepping carefully to avoid the trickle of water flowing though.
