Reasons To Be Cheerful......

Not many.

I was awake with the dawn chorus ...... well - woken by the magpies and the seagulls fighting on the roof.

It was then round to babysit the monsters.
After they had got up and we had all had breakfast then we all piled into the car and headed to the airport where SWMBO was going to see about kicking up a stink with Air France to get her brother's case reconnected with him - after all, he arrived two weeks ago (he has been phoning every day and the phone has never been answered). According to a tracker in his case it is in a warehouse at the airport ....... the one that holds thousands of cases that arrived after the owners.
While she went to do that the monsters and I went to fill the car with fuel ready to go to the funeral on Tuesday.
When we had done that and got back to the park & ride I gave her a call to see if she had any joy.
It turned out she was in the warehouse looking for it ... so we went to join her.
Talk about not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery!
All the luggage is just laid out in rows across the warehouse (and in every room off the main hall). There is no organisation to it at all ..... not by date of arrival, not by carrier, not by anything -- and the staff just let anyone wander about looking.
Between the four of us there were 5 man hours put in looking for his case and despite have photos of roughly what it looks like and the tag details we came up blank.

On the way back to the house we had to drop Squirrel off at a friend's where she was going to have lunch and spend the afternoon.

This evening we have heard from the case owner that he is coming down from Dundee  to see if he can find the case so I fully expect that we will join him there and then take him back up to Perth.

The lead shot is the older of Bags' cats (who wasn't in the slightest bit upset despite the look) and there are other shots of both cats and the monsters Over Here.
