Goodbye Stratford

The removal people arrived this morning and emptied our house of all our worldly possessions, well all except those we stuffed in the back of the car. They were very good and completed the job in 2-3 hours, which included them dismantling two beds and two tables as well as moving a bit of the kitchen fittings to reach the plug for the fridge.  The unit was returned to its rightful place after.

So we locked up the empty house and drove over to Worcester where we'll be staying with Andy and Emma until Monday when the same removal people will do the exact opposite and dump everything at the new house. Completion is actually tomorrow so we should get the key and be able to look round the house then.

Once settled at E&A's Ann and I decided to go out for a celebratory lunch and walked down to the Slug and Lettuce.  This is a restaurant inside a converted church ,very interesting, see extras.  After lunch we went to Cathedral Square and had a coffee on the terrace of The Botanist, a new restaurant/cocktail bar which has opened up next door to Cosy Club.
