San Diego From The Air

I have taken photos of airplanes landing at San Diego International Airport for a number of years. I have long wanted to experience this approach, from the left side of the plane, and on today's flight from Denver to San Diego I finally got my chance. Thanks to Southwest Airlines' open seating, and my $50 upgraded boarding position, I was able to get a prime seat. It was pretty spectacular, even if this photo doesn't do it justice. It is good to be home after a busy weekend away.
